To compare manual toothbrushes to powered toothbrushes in everyday use with regard to their effectiveness in plaque removal and maintenance of gingival health

No information was presented about funding for this review. However, 3 of the authors have been involved previously in research in this area funded by a manufacturer (Braun) and thus have a potential conflict of interest.
